Feather River Festival Schedule
FRIDAY
7 pm: Paddling Film Festival hosted by Ben Stookesberry presenting whitewater adventure films at the School. $5.
Join or renew with AW on Friday night and get a free raffle ticket to win a new kayak! You’ll also get a wrist
band to get in to Saturday’s party free!
9 pm: RAFFLE!! Win a kayak and other paddling gear. Must be present to win!
6 pm- 11pm: Sierra Nevada beer! Buy a 25th Anniversary Feather Fest Klean Kanteen pint cup for $5 and get a buck off
your beer for every refill! (Please, no outside alcohol)
SATURDAY
7 am: Coffee service hosted by Chico Paddleheads. Please BYO cup! 9 am-Sunday 3 pm: Releases of 700 – 900 cfs on the Rock Creek/Tobin reach of the North Fork Feather River.
9 am Clinic: BS TEC (Better Strokes and Tighter Eddy Catching) hosted by Current Adventures Kayak School and taught
by world class instructors Gigi McBee, Jason Bates and Sage Donnelly! Register online coming soon. $40
Proceeds go to American Whitewater.
10 am Sharp! Volunteer Meeting at the School.
11 am Slalom and downriver race sign-ups begin at the School. $10 entry each.
12 pm – 4pm Class II Slalom races at the upstream end of the Festival site. All levels and crafts welcome! $10 entry
2 pm Downriver race registration moves to Tobin put-in.
3 pm Downriver race meeting
4 pm SHARP! Class V Downriver race starts on Tobin. $10 entry
6 pm PARTY!! ($5 entry unless you signed up with AW on Friday night) Live music and DJ, beer, BBQ dinner ($10),
raffle prizes given out throughout the evening, silent auction and river party until ?
8 pm Slalom results announced and awards
9 pm Silent Auction closes
10 pm Ro Sham Bo for a new kayak!
10:15 pm Jackson Kayak Raffle!
10:30 pm Tobin results announced and awards
12:00 am Beer sales end
SUNDAY

9 am: Clinic: Better Boofing! by Current Adventures with Sage Donnelly, Gigi McBee and Jason Bates.
This clinic will take place on the Lobin run. Registration coming soon on the Current Adventures website.$40
