2007 Clif Bar Flowing Rivers Campaign due June 1st
Clif Bar and AW team up to promote river stewardship and safety efforts in paddling clubs.
American Whitewater and Clif Bar are pleased to announce the 5th annual Clif Bar Flowing Rivers Campaign, pledging $2,500 to American Whitewater Affiliate Clubs for river stewardship work. Funding for this very effective program is provided by Clif Bar.
American Whitewater affiliate clubs have the opportunity to apply for one of two $1,250 grants. Grants will be distributed to clubs for projects that promote river stewardship, conservation, access and/or safety education on our nation’s rivers. This program provides Club Affiliates with the seed money necessary to implement programs in their backyards.
AW Affiliate Clubs will receive a box of Clif Bars for distribution among their members along with the grant application. Once received, grant applications will be reviewed by a grant committee consisting of Kevin Colburn, AW National Stewardship Director, Ben VanCamp, AW Outreach Director, Eric Neis, AW Safety Committee Chair, and a representative of Clif Bar & Co.
